don’t lead alone.
Pastoral ministry is a calling worth finishing well.
Yet too many pastors burn out, give up, or walk away before they reach the most fruitful and joyful years of ministry.
Your leadership matters.
Pastors across our network face rising challenges: cultural change, declining trust in pastors, increasing isolation, and mounting pressure on families.
Yet research — and Scripture itself — remind us that leaders who last bring stability, renewal, and faithfulness to God’s people.
You don’t have to carry the weight alone — trusted peers make all the difference.
A new cohort of leaders committed to lasting in ministry is coming together.
A circle of pastors dedicated to leading with resilience, finishing well, and leaving a lasting impact is creating the kind of community where encouragement flows freely and endurance is strengthened.

format & commitment
This isn’t another program to add to your workload. It’s a space of refreshment, biblical grounding, and practical tools.
Six one-hour sessions over four months (January–April).
Conducted on Zoom for accessibility.
One in-person lunch gathering at the Southern Missouri Ministry Network Conference in April.
Simple pre- and post-surveys to help you reflect on growth.
That’s it. Six hours total — with potential impact that lasts a lifetime.
The Longevity Cohort is in partial fulfillment of Alan Beauchamp’s Doctor of Ministry Degree.
Cohort host: Alan beauchamp
Alan’s goal is to live, love, and lead through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in such a way that he is proud to hand back his family, ministry, resources, and life to God, the Father; to fearlessly cultivate every soul and space he touches while fearfully pressing forward to know Jesus Christ.
He values creative and diligent growth in a joyful, kind, and thoughtful atmosphere of authentic community.
Alan serves as the Pastor of Praise Assembly in Springfield, MO. He has been at Praise since he was saved in 2000. He has served as a maintenance worker, kids’ pastor, youth pastor, associate pastor, and lead pastor of Praise.
He has a BA from CBC in Biblical Languages, an MA from Evangel University in Organizational Leadership, and is pursuing a DMin at AGTS.
He is married to Elizabeth and has two children. He was born in Kenosha, WI, but plans to die in Springfield, MO.
